Practical information

The staff training will take place at Tallinn University, the room is located at Mare building, accessible from Uus-Sadama-5, Tallinn. The room M225 is on second floor and you will find registration and welcome coffee there.

If you come by bus or by tram, you should enter from Astra building, pass the lobby, go the 2nd floor and there is a corridor which leads you to Mare building.

 

Tallinn University is easily accessible from Tallink Spa ja Conference Hotel or Hestia Hotel Ilmarine, 20 minutes walking if you pass Admiral Pedestrian Bridge. From Citybox hotel, the walking time to university is approximately 15 minutes.

By using a tram, you should walk to Linnahall Stop, take a tram nr 1, leave after four stops at Tallinna Ülikool stop.

 

It is recommended to find time for Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn, which is located nearby and is in UNESCO World Heritage List since 1997.

 

We will have walking tour starting from 17.00 on Monday to those who would like to join. The walking tour ends at Lore Bistro. 

 

The dinner on Monday evening is at Lore bistro, 30-35 min walking from Tallink Spa and Conference Hotel/Hotel Hestia Ilmarine/Cityox hotel.

 

If you will not join city tour, it is recommended to take a pedestrian road from Kalarand, you will pass former prison – building Patarei vangla, further you will pass our popular museum Seaplane Harbour, and a popular winter swimming area Iglupark. Lore bistro is situated just after that - in a newly built Noblessner Port area.
