We are pleased to announce that the 7th International Symposium of Environmental Physiology of Ectotherms and Plants (ISEPEP7) will be held at the Estonian University of Life Sciences in Tartu, Estonia, from July 31st to August 4th 2017.
The conference is held every two years and devoted to topics related with environmental physiology of ectotherms and plants as well as applied physiology. In addition to enjoying the exciting scientific program we are putting together, you will have a chance to meet old and new colleagues.
Tartu is a home to one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe, founded by the Swedish king Gustavus Adolphus in 1632. The city of Tartu is a charming university town whose relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere creates a perfect environment for scholarly conversations. Tartu has hosted several world famous natural scientists, for example Karl Ernst von Baer, who discovered the ovule of mammals. The Estonian University of Life Sciences is known for its top quality education in agricultural and veterinary medicine sciences.
There are several green areas and cafés in the middle of the downtown; within an easy walking distance you can find great shopping centres, museums and a multitude of restaurants to suit any taste.
